"This office cannot seem to get across to the MVA that I have not lapsed my insurance. They have told me it happens all the time and not to worry about it. This is my second MVA flag for the same "lapse." MD State police are trying to take my tags here at 2 am on a Sunday in July of 2025. I have threads of email correspondence going back to May, bank statements, and documents to otherwise prove I had no lapse. MD state trooper said it's impossible to prove and let me go as a "benefit of the doubt" situation. Makayla was the last one handling this, Chase is on vacation. I was on my way back from mine! Looking forward to how this is handled because I am beyond disturbed at how I almost became stranded because I was late on a payment sometime almost a year ago. That is absolutely terrifying and I have no idea what confidence I am supposed to have ever handing a law enforcement officer my state farm "proof of insurance " again. I have been an policy holder since 2018 and find this to be a colossal waste of money. We have all heard the stories about state farm and maybe it's just time to move on. As all they are doing is farming my patience and money. Glad to see they recent got a slew of bots to give them five stars. This never got resolved and they quoted me a corrected auto policy at $400 a month. I have been happily insured with a far more capable agent with state farm that gave me the exact same policy for half of that. Now they have dropped my partners policy with no correspondence whatsoever. So he has been without coverage since dec 1 2025 unbeknownst to him. Do business at your own risk. I'm sure they are great at "setting up" a sale. Maintaining accounts on the other hand.....absolutely not. 😂"
